The right process still starts with your part. Material, geometry, nozzle choice and the required finish all affect how a job should be prepared. That is where application support matters.
Modern control, without a cloud requirement
Connect over WiFi or Ethernet, use the Mainsail browser interface on your local network, or operate the machine through HelixScreen. Vidar runs Kalico firmware and can be used without an external server or cloud connection.
Inside, a Raspberry Pi 4 works alongside a modern 32-bit Octopus MAX EZ controller and 5160 motor drivers. For the operator, the point is straightforward: modern motion control and an accessible way to work with the machine.
Speed is part of the picture
Vidar has a maximum machine speed of 400 mm/s and acceleration up to 10,000 mm/s². Those are machine limits, rather than a promise that every material or part should be printed at the maximum. We help you find the balance between output, geometry and surface finish for your application.
Support beyond the machine
Choosing a printer is also choosing how you will keep it running. Alongside Vidar, we offer Remote Support, Preventive Care and Production Care service plans, so you can choose the level of support that fits your operation.
Freight is quoted separately for your delivery address and handling requirements. If your company prefers to arrange its own transport, we can coordinate collection with you.
